Maintenance after rings work

Mehran VX 2010.
Was emiting blue smoke specially at the start up and then at high rev. Mechanic said that it is due to faulty rings so were replaced yesterday. Gasket was also replaced along with few seals.
Now guide me how to do further care?
Does this work warrant the "break-in" period traditional after overhaul?
Can i take it for a long drive of almost 450km?
When engine oil should be changed?

Fan switched to auto mode.
Thermostat valve is installed now.

Also guide which viscosity oil is to be used. I previously used zic X1 20w50

1) Cylinder Honing was done by khardiya before placing new rings? He might have used helper rings instead of honning (same case as mine)
2) tappets are as per OEM specs or loose ?

Now after this work, please use mineral oil 20w50 or 10w40 during break-in. Use car with less load and avoid hard breaking and high revs. Keep under 80kmph.
At around 800km or 1000km, change oil to 10w40 and then use car as per your driving habbit.
I will not suggest you to take it for a 450km long drive during breakin. (Answered ur queries bcz i have experienced this in my mehran also)

Perhaps helper ring was used. Nothing done to cylinder.

Tappet adjustment was done. But I don't know if it is as per SOP

In my case no honing was done, helper rings were used.
And the mechanic left tappet loose for breakin.
After discussing my scenario on PW forum, i immediately reverted tappets as per OEM. and just keep a check on oil level after 1000km.
After approx breakin period of 800km, i switched my oil to havoline 10w30. Now its around 12k km after ring work. No loss in oil level but am expecting it will die around 20-25k km bcz rings were installed on polished cylinder walls. (If he did honing it would have last long)
Lets see what happens......

What type of changes you expect at 25k interval.??
I overhaul my cultus carby 2006. Sleeves were placed. Piston were old standard. Drive more than 40 k and still no oil consumption.

Imran bro, labour was 4000, and parts costed around 6500 i guess.

@scholar.center am expecting that after 25k km this ring work might end up (rings & helper rings wear) and then again oil consumption might start. But i repeat its totally my assumption. I wish it doesnt happen bcz if it happens i will have to go for a complete overhaul.
