Malfunctioning of "Emission Control System" symble appeared

Dear Friends;

I have Wagon-R Japanese 2012 model. A symbol regarding malfunctioning of "Emission Control System" appeared at information panel. Kindly guide me what problem appeared with vehicle and how do I recover it. Kindly also let me inform the best technician of this car in Lahore especially in Township area.

If only this symbol is appearing, then its not exactly Emission Control system.
It is "Check Engine", means there is some problem with any sensor of the engine. It may include any of the sensor. so now you need to goto some car shop where he can diagnose the error. or if you have any OBD-II adapter then you can check yourself.

Please tell what if you have done anything before this Check Engone light comes on, any car wash or anu other maintenance etc. ?

japanese cars are equipped with lots of sensors
this check light is ususally a minor issue
might be any malfunctioning fuel plug
get it sort out from a good mechanic
they ususally have gadgets to run the diagnosis
hopefully its not going to be anything major
