Manual to Electric Climate Control Conversion

I have seen a lot of DIY projects but i haven't yet come across this very interesting query that i am trying to solve

Is it possible to upgrade the climate controls of old / local cars from mechanical to electric system??
A very classic example is Suzuki mehran and cultus. The air shifter and the fresh air controls are all wire controlled. Also in most of the old cars, these systems are based on wires that operate mechanically
However, now a days most of the cars have servo motors, instead of wires to control and shift these functions ( air direction shifter and fresh air control )

My friend coverted his 10th Gen Gli's manual climate control to automatic. He bough complete kit of Corolla Axio. Functionality wise it was OK never worked as flawless as in original because space had to be made to mount motors. Whole dashboard of the car came out and then refitted which caused some rattles and squeeks afterwards.
