car deck stop working in my cousin's 2.0d after 4 months....

all the cars in Pakistan are equiped with general tyres,these are not tyres but just coated iron wheels....it looks you are driving on the ice when you drive with them,.... ny cousin replaced them as he couldnt risk his and his car's life for few thousand bucks....Thats horrible....

Generals in 13 rim are better.
in 14 rim (corolla standard size)the tyres are pathetic.
However on wet road,even the 13 size act like a pair skates on frozen ice.

The lowest quality cars assembled in Pakistan are suzukis. And autophile, warranty is no justification for making low quality cars, buy an imported car and compare it with a local one, for example, compare the assembling of a new nissan sunny and a pakistani corolla, the difference is remarkable. The reason for this low quality was lack of competition. I think in the next one or two years, the situation will improve as there are many new competitors arriving....

1. Brand new Civic 2005 Vti lost its engine shields (plastic ones beneath the front) on Islamabad Highway and were torn apart by the traffic coming from behind.
   the car was unregistered at the time

2.The same car now has VTECH problem. and the bloody Honda Company mechanics are not trying to understand it.

sometimes when u Race ur car a sound comes from the engine like a Dinosaur roaring its best like in the movie jurassic park.
i kn ow its funny but its happenin and its a Valve lifting fault.

very true indeed....all things are true....thats y JDM is ruling your market still now....i have both JDM models....Starlet 82 and Nissan 92...believe me if u properlt maintained car...ur JDM car don't take out any work....my starlet wheel cylinders give up after 24 years of running think what the quality is.....master cylinder after 22 years...brake switch was still in working condition...:)....so thats y i believe that to take car once and run for years...local assembler are really playing their monopoly by taking strong money and giving low quality cars and parts......some are worse in it and some are better but no one is good.....

and if you really wanna go for something less than that, go for alto and not cuore.. comparatively, alto is better and safer.. but only when compared to cuore.. plus, alto got better shox, or at least thats what i've experienced.. so its better for khi rds.

These car companies here in pk are difficult to deal with!... if u sue them, the next thing u'll c will b a LARGE SUITE CASE(not a brief case) filled with "u kno wht" from PAMA!! And in pakistan.... To shut some ones mouth all u need to do is transport a Brief case... im sure i dont need to disclose what they r transporting...

Unfortunately in Pakistan, this is a daily routine....

One can only take deep breaths...

1999 Honda Accord- Ignition recall

2000 BMW 740- Leak, Leak , Leak

2000 Acura TL -Transmission failure

2001 Chevy Blazer- Same quality as Paki alto

2002 Chevy Silverado- Electrical

2003 Toyota Tundra - Brakes, Brake relay, Fuel Tank

2003 H2 - Not enough space to list it

Since then i have decided to buy couple of year old cars so i don't have to go through service dept. Let the first owner fix all the bugs

I Got a cultus 2 years back on the second day i was drivng on Sh-e-Faisal opened the front window and the glass support on the outer side of the door fell on the road. i went to suzuki and they charged me 4000 to fix it as they claimed its a part. then after few days the same thing happend and then i went to my own denter he told me that the door is bended and it needs to be straighten otherwise the problem will continue . i went back to suzuki they didnot aggree and eventully the pasted depoxy to keep the glass holder in place.

I know anotherguy who had a cultus and the engine was cracked and it got seised withing 2 days due to oil spill. and when he went back to suzuki they told him that u must have hit the car from the bottom. they simply do not take the blame.

I has a discussion with alot of people the lack in quality is due to this fact that once they sell the car and the car is registered they replacement warranty becomes void as according to excise law once the car is registered it cannot be unregistered or the reg. cannot be transfered they manufacturers knows this fack and they give all the faulty vehicles to us.

i think you mean condensation when you said ur headlights had water in them, that is not a problem atleast a factory problem, its normal even in cars here in canada. its caused because of constant heat and a sudden coolness.

i think Hash4u is right....
as there are rubbers at the back side of the lights, if they are not properly setup then water can get inside them, as one light of my car got like that and the other was quite right, when i inspected that rubber was present for one light and there was no rubber on the other....

Suzuki - all brands especially Cultus, Alto, Mehran
Doors must require adjustment by denters (and must be adjusted or they will deform)

Roof Molding detached at some points.

Cigerete liter in Alto seems like fitted after buying and painted with Blank Marker

New Corolla SS,

1.First showers and the seats are wet.
2.AC grills deformed in two months.
3.Stale smell from the AC.
4.Fender Cowlings falling off.
5.Rear bumper out of shape.
6.Gone to Toyota dealership 4 times for a warning light of ABS, which keeps coming back on in a few weeks.

Overall Honda is better, i am not saying good, but better than Toyota as far as quality is concerened

Extremely luck man ! only explanation i can give

When i got my altis, my cuz asked me to THOROUGHLY check the car, and i thought hey, they've got a PDI so they wud've checked.....

1. Second day after delivery of my car i was in lahore and a guy pointed out one of my fog ligts was hanging out... They prolly did'nt tighten it. Good thing it did'nt fall off.. otherwise it was my fault

2. The air conditioning duct that sets circulate or fresh wasn't closing properly on circulate and i could smell everything on the outside !! Got that fixed

3. Had to get alignment AND balancing the next week cuz it wud'nt show on high speeds ! when i did go on the motorway i felt it big time !

4. Plastic handles were of very bad quality !! Got em replaced.

But they did this all for free. So no hard feelings but a bit disappointment that they're so keen on shooting cars out of their showroom without actually checking it themselves.

After that my car hasn't given me any sort of problem ! purrs like a cat ! love it
