Manufacturing faults in brand new cars

Over the past few years.I have witnessed alot of manufacturing faults in brand new cars.Some of them are mind boggling.What manufacturing faults have you guys witnessed so far in which specific cars ???? list them Plz....

Mine was corolla Xli, had to replace two general tyres as they gave noise. Also, AC gave occasional smelly air and had to be fixed.

Got a Civic EX in 95, couple of bubls were fused & some were missing.

i guess u guys dont have that much problems in your car cause mine honda city bought in oct 2004 having a problem in windshield{front glass} which is coming out and when we sent to honda service center they said that we have to remove whole dashboard to fix it that sucks

my friend is having a brand new civic and the problem with that car was in the suspension on which the engin rest was cracked and thats not all and about a brand new mehran the bulb was fused and having a problem with the pasting of cloths on side of the doors this is all due to the assembling in pakistan thats y japnese cars are coming back

Let me start with Honda.
well i know 2 guys having VTI's and they constantly pull to the left.Cant leave the steering for 2 seconds even.
Engine plastic sheet below,start to deshape and tear off.Water in the head light beams.
Corolla.
Main windscreen has waves.(looks deformed)
Head lights got water in them.
Paint started to chip of from door mouldings.
Radiator fan Fell off one day of brand new se saloon.(had no nut bolt,found out when car started to heat up).

In Cuore i have seen,
outer door handle came in hand one day.
Glove box deformed(un even).
Suzuki cultus,
have to slam the door to close it,
Car deck stopped working.
missing in second gear.
Rattling sounds with AC on.
Petrol tank lid did not close/open.
Santro,
Have to slam the doors hard to close them.
Springs coming out of the seats.

I've Chevy Exclusive and thanks GOD it's got no manufacturing faults. faults that have been posted here are unbelievable. Local production really needs to improve quality and that can only be done if there'd be competition.

yeah the pull problem was the major problem in Honda Civic nowdays.....i hear from more than 6 pplz....the local ones are too much.....that's why i am with JDM brand always....the new imported one's like Sunny are the best to buy or the Vitz and Corolla X are the best buy...
the person buys a new one with the excitment and then when he get this type of car....i can't bear that :)...JDM rulz...

Chevy Optra,
Main gearbox seal leak.car had done only 350 km's

Leak seal at 350 Kms mean that oil was overfilled. That component cannot fail easily.
In my spectra i had to replace weather strips under warranty (Door rubbers) and the Dealer said that it is a common problem with all Kia/Hyundai Vehicles. Dewan just recently changed driver/passenger seats because they get slipped even if u dont touch the lever.

Oh Bhai faults can be present in every new car whether in Pakistan or abroad. That is why there is warranty to resolve petty issue. Yar give Pakistan car industry some credit that in such a short time their products are so popular that you have to wait for them form one year to four months. And "Toyota rules Pakistan because people are not fools" that is the simplest pure economics dear.

My Corolla Altis has following faults.
Automatic gearshift plastic is loose from the left bottom size.
Left AC grill is loose and doesnot fit properly in the Dash. (Toyota Rawal could not do anything to improve the situation)
Pretty cheap plastic parts used by Toyota Indus
Around 1 litre engine oil is overfilled.(Thanks GOD no permanent damage was done due to that)
Liquid coolent level is more than the mark.

i decided to find a good used car and mod it to my likes., less teething problems

my alto.
annoying rattling sounds frmo the dashboard.
squeaky noises from the back.
brakes lights stayed on the whole time when we intially bought it.
hey on many santros ive noticed that their reverse lights stay on the whole time.

Makes sense,in a new car oil seals should only leak due to excess of oil.We took the car to the company.they kept the car for a day(they said they replaced the seal).Just after one day the oil started to leak again.i guess they just took out the old seal,placed some silicone around it and placed it right back : ) .....
Anyways when Baleno was launched in pakistan, i salute the owners who could tolerate whole Gear box change, Bearings changed in there Zero meter cars...and yeah i guess shocks as well (please dont forget still u can sell a baleno in ten minutes in Pak )

I had bought baleno gti in 2000.. i guess it was the best quality suzuki car i ever drove.. later i came to know that gti were indonesian models.. i sold my gti last year.. no doubt it was the best quality suzuki i ever drove..ive been driving a company 2005 baleno jxr since few days and quality sucks big time..

The main fault i have observed in every car is that the brake lights of a new car stops working just after few months . you guyz can check it out on roads . . .
