Margalla Mileage average

I am having low mileage on my Margalla 94, it has 55L cylinder and fill in 360rs. but it give me only 100-110km in city, which is really bad :(.
From various mechanics I have get it tuned, but of no help. Can you suggest me what should be its average and from where I should get it tune.

Margalla cant go over a 100 - 110 kms on a 55 liter cylinder, in city driving, thats the average of 1000cc cultus and cultuses are new cars too.

You getting an average out of such an old car that you should give away some kind of sadqa khairaat

i own late 94 magalla .....
i used to get 130 to 140 km in city with no ac at all and 2 passengers max from 55wl cylinder,
with ac in city about 110 to 120 ......
on long routes, 190 to 200 km with 4 passengers without ac at 100 to 110 km/hr speed.

• check ur engine condition (look if engine eating oil)
• cehck plugs, air filter + cng kit and cylinder service.

There is alot of difference in both cities of Karachi and Islamabad.
In Karachi i get 80 kms out of my spectra, the same car gives me 160 - 165 kms on Highway
Same is the case with liana, it gives 110 - 120 kms in karachi city and on highway it gave me 220 kms

I use to drive a Margalla94 of My uncle. It gives an average of 115kms per tank in Lahore city.While it gives 170+kms on Highway.

Thanks for your replies. In fact I was thinking it can give me around 140K as stonedsaint's have mentioned. Considering Karachi traffic, It looks OK to me now.

my daewoo racer has 60L Cylinder ,I checked its consumption last week , it has already done 3000 km after changing of mobiloil, and gives 159 Km in city and 235 km on long route. its 1500 CC engine and 93 model. i think its good average for any 1500 cc,

A mechanic of mine got the japanese
margalla 1000C..1990 model i think...and
that genius claims that its expense
is just like a CD-70...as he wanted
to sell it to me..he can claim any
thing

check if air flow is half blocked or not?...

lookis ok to me as my friends margallah does around 130 something he says he has 2.4 Rs per Km... you do your math.

In Karachi city, it can not give more then this, try shifting to islamabad if you want more or maybe abbottabad

yes you are right, what I am observing that most of the people who are claiming more than 130km are from Abottabe or Islamabad, having low traffic compared to Karachi.

don't know how, but now my Margalla start giving me around 125-130 km per cylinder :). What do you say, I have only changed CNG filling station, can this be the reason?
