Salaam, i have a Margalla that is currently giving extremly bad fuel average. I am from LAHORE. Current fuel average is barely 7-8KMPL (both city or highway), sometimes even decreases in traffic. Being a student and travelling 80KMs everyday for university, it has made life hell. Is there anyone who could help in this regard? The car used to work fine on CNG, but since its closed nowadays, petrol price and consumption has really dented my budget. I would be very grateful if someone helped. Further symptoms are given below.
The car sometimes run rich with petrol smell from exhaust and black soot. Starting is also fine. The acceleration is very rough. Pick is okay on highways once it gets above 90 - 100.
Engine: G13
Oil: Shell 10-40 (same oil for almost 20 years and doesnt decrease)
Gear Oil: Changed SAE 75W-90 (about 15,000KMs ago)
Tyres: Continental CC6 (Changed 8 months ago)
CNG venturi is removed
Coolant: Zic (Always used coolant)
Radiator status: Coolant colour is okay and fan is auto.
Spark plugs: Changed recently, NGK BP6ES
Plug wires: Also changed recently
Carburetor: Got serviced alot times but no use
Air and Oil filter always changed on time. (leppon)
