i think in case engine needs new rings and head work than a swap might be an option.

G13B would be hot. Am not sure if any peshawar member can help with finding u a prestine one tough.

Btw where did you get your carburetor adjusted, the mileage you are getting sounds miraculous

Bro pretty much adjusted by myself. Main reason is that I always use 100% synthetic oil, change it every 5k KM along with both oil and air filter. Also add stp carburetor cleaner (white pack) occasionally. Drive mostly with a light foot.

Also have removed CNG setup from the car. Also consumption remains more or less same with or without AC.

My car is running on 20w50 withvstp oil additive so thats even more viscous and carb is messed up. Khair which grade and brand of oil?

Well....the carby engine is doing 8 kpl and so if the g13b does 13 we will be happy....I want to have some fun so another vote for g13b. Did you see any recently?

The amount of khuwari and chakkar of local mechanic even after the swap is done is not worth at all. After the swap you would probably be facing wiring and code errors which would result in replacing some part every now and then and eventually you would think of selling it.

Why not Cultus? someone in my family has recently got one from lahore and he is a very satisfied owner. 6 lacs is enough to get a good condition cultus.
I saw the link which you have posted and i guarantee there is no one in Pakistan who does such a neat job when it comes to engine swapping moreover getting a trouble free engine from dump markets here in pakistan is also a big task and a big gamble because you never know after the swap how it comes out which eventually as i said earlier puts you in every day visits to the mechanic and listening to his goli's of replacing parts. you can find many threads here on pakwheels where the owners are crying after the engine swap because of wiring and error code issues

G13B is a crazy engine, it revs like a motorcycle. it will put a smile on your face though, its like owning an original DA8 Integra XSi, it was a nice looking medium sized luxury sedan with climate control etc.

looked very decent IMO - rev that engine beyond 5000 rpm and that nice sedan then suddenly howls as the VTEC comes onto cam and hauls. Your margalla will become a similar car but at a lower power level.

mind you the G13B due to its wide angle head requires high rpm to breathe.
