Mark 2 (jzx110) engine swap

I just purchased Mark 2 iR 2003 (x110) with stock 1g-fe engine. Im thinking to swap an engine for more power and torque for drifting and donuts and enjoy the power.

Im confused between 2jz-ge vvti and 3GR engine.

3gr is new , reliable and more stock power and is much cheaper but has alot of alterations needed to fit it in mark 2 chassis while 2jz-ge is expensive but fits bolt on.

Please recommend which one is better ? If 2jz then is it reliable and after market parts available in lahore ?

2jz then is it reliable

The 2jz is a tank and incredibly reliable considering how much boost people have put into it. Part availability however is a valid concern due to the age of these engines. If we're talking about parts for a Mark 2 then they are already quite scattered, but you will be able to find them. A 2JZ swap should be more reliable than a 3gr swap only because there are much fewer alterations that would be required as you said it is a near bolt on fit and many people have done this swap so it would be easier to find people that had gone through this experience.

If reliability is what you're seeking then a 2jz will make it easier but if you think you have a good enough mechanic and are willing to take some risks then you could consider the 3gr
