Recently noticed this mark on my civic bonnet. I dont know whether its the paint issue or soething else, but I have tried to clear this but its not coming off. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this mark?

This happenex a couple of days ago when I parked my car outside and it rained heavily that night, though I had my car cover on, when next day I lifted my car cover, I saw this mark on my bonnet. I ignored it thinking that it must be due to dampness from last night rain. But when I tried to clean it, it did not vanish. I believe it is a water spot from rain water with minerals deposit. But the problem is , it looks ugly on bonnet and I am not sure whether compounding will get it off or not. I THINK IT HAS GONE DOWN TO CLEAR COAT.
Oh Compound will do nothing
Just let it sit in sun or lightly use a heat gun. Its surely dampness embedded into clear coat
