Asalamo Alaikum brothers,
recently me and my brother have purchased 2 mark x 250G. the one which i have is giving me very good fuel average of 9-10kms/litre in Lahore within city and on long it gave me 13-14 kms/litre on Multan rd to sahiwal. i went to sahiwal and came back to lahore in less than half tank. i am satisfied. however the other mark x which my brother have is not going more than 7.5 or max 8 within lahore and on it consumed full tank from going to sahiwal and back. it only gave 9.8 on long. car was on reserve one he came back home. he drives with very light foot.
the things we did was below:
1. put almost brand new both primary catalytic filters. the secondary filters are not present
2. changed fuel filter which is in tank.
3. put brand new genuine denso plugs. imported from japan.
4. put new air filter.
5. changed engine oil.
6. cleaned throttle
when we bought the car, the catalytic filters were all broken.
even after getting this all done, the car is still not giving average as other markx is giving.
please give your suggestions/experience/opinion
