Maybe he did, maybe he did not, but all of U guys are on the verge of tears with emotions all hyped up! Take a chill pill bro. Now! let me explain what I said because obviously, in your emotion-filled moment, you misread a few things.
This is going to be long, but lets go. When u pass the Lahore toll plaza, there is usually a lot of traffic, including buses, trucks and pickups. Just like that fateful day (:)) there was a lot of traffic. Now this Civic dude was all over the three lanes going from left to right and what not. I was traveling with family, so I let him pass as he was flashing his lights vigorously at everyone including me. Then came an empty patch where I overtook him at 125 Km/h and there were three vehicles in front of him in the middle lane where he was driving at about 85-90 Km/h. I go further ahead and am blocked by a bus overtaking a pickup truck carrying hen and I slow down to 100Km/h. The Civic dude suddenly wakes up and realizes I had passed him, so he switches to the fast lane approaches me from behind, flashes lights vigorously (although he can see the huge bus in front of me). I roll the window down, signal him to wait as there is a bus ahead and he starts honking as well. Thats where I got pissed. As soon as the bus moved to the left, I downshifted to the 3rd and slammed it. The civic guy was obviously not prepared for that and was left behind 7-8 cars distance. I was doing 160Km/h by then and saw the m2 police lights ahead. I slowed down to 120km/h. He pulls right behind me. After the police car was gone, he starts flashing his lights at me. I signaled him to pass, which he does. gives me a stare and a smile and goes in front of me. Now, he slows down gradually to 80km/h (by this time I know he wants to mess with me). Again, I move slowly to the fast lane, downshift and slam the gas! Again, he is unprepared and I leave him behind by 5-6 cars distance until another truck blocks the fast lane. He starts flashing again. The truck gives way, I let him go and he goes for it. I went after him with full beams. He tried to shake me off until 170 km/h, but I was right there at his bumper. Again he slows down to 80 km/h and then goes for it to shake me off, but alas!
That was the day when I stopped taking the 1.8 Civic too seriously. If a guy cannot catch a 1.3 Suzuki on the Motorway in a 1.8 Civic, then I am sorry! Be all upset you wanna be guys.
