Coolant was fine, we just topped up the bottle with Toyota coolant, Power steering is Electronic so that is a saving of fluid cost

The whole servicing has given confidence that the car is good to go for next 100,000 kms at least.

Most of the work was getting done for the first time, including plugs, brakes, Tranny and Diff fluids so comfort level with the car is now excellent.

It has a maintenance free timing chain instead of Timin belt so that is also a saving. Checked the V belt as well and it was fine, Will replace it at 100,000 Kms inshallah.

YOu are absolutely right that these are head ports, but this engine has got individual throttle boides inside the head ports as well. look closely in the picture

hmmm you're right...those do look like individual throttle bodies !! din't look close enough !

@spectra: nicely done service....its gud for other markx owner to get idea...i ve markx too but its done only 31k....i ve change the oil filters n oil 2 weeks bak....which oil u r using n i wud recommend u to get synthetic oil n for Toyota ATF WS is suited for our 6 speed auto transmission...dont tell me u have put 4 litre engine oil coz it use 6.5litre, ATF oil u ve put only 1 liter?
P.S get rid of tht rims...get original markx S-package rims

You are absolutely right and i bought the oil accordingly but this is for a completely empty transmission when you open it up completely for a rebuild or some work inside.

If you open the level nut and drain nut, around 4 liters come out and you put in the same

@Ghuncha has some theory on it from the transmission data of A960, going by which maximum replacement can be 1liter for this tranny It is still a mystery for me.

ATF WS is recommended for this transmission, due to non availability, i had to put in ATF T-IV, car is fine so far Lets see what happens.

Frr oil, i think putting in Toyota 5W-30 or 10W-30 is wise and change should be at 5000 kms

@spectra: i ve exact file of this transmission where i copy paste...i get all the markx info from mark-x.com n some other website btw u got the genuine spark plugs in cheap price some ppl told me it cost above 2k each

Toyota's WS trans oil is recommended for CVT trans, if ur car's trans is CVT so do'nt use ATF T4 or any other in it cause transmission demage.
