@oklodhi it is very simple to start with. you need an open commercial plot approx 1500 sq ft ( 2.5 kanal approx ), preferably a corner plot with easy access, develop it with an idea of open space air in summer and a pull over canopy for winters & monsoon season. approx 120 running feet is required for utilities, kitchenette & temporary storage space. A stand by generator & LPG cylinders for burners.
Rest is publicity - catering services will approach you for a long term leasing contract & or you can link your premises with multiple catering companies for keeping your location under your very own control. You can do the booking of space as dry lease = space only -Wet lease = event lease with essential furniture, carpeting, crockery & cutlery of party NO food. OR event management lease - everything including food. -
it all depends how much you can handle.
I'd suggest work as volunteer organizer in party season with an event management people & learn before you gamble on the money. Party season will start after 10th Feb 2014 when weddings will go in full swing upto Ramadan in June 2014.
