Maruti-Suzuki launches WagonR 'Waltz' Limited Edition @ INR 5.65 lacs in India!

Maruti-Suzuki sold 16,450 WagonR cars in the Indian car market last month (August 2024). So, it is surprising that they have launched this low priced special edition with a lot of accessories added on based on the base model variant. The WagonR is offered with two petrol engines 1.0 liter and 1.2liter and this price is for the 1.0 liter. The 1.2liter will cost on average 50,000 rupees more.

This is a vfm car and i thought to share as a former owner of a WagonR.

This is a base variant with goodies and an addition of a 1200cc engine?

Or the 1200cc engine was available previously aswell.

The price in advert is on base variant with base 1.0 liter engine.

Both 1.0 and 1.2 liter engine were offered at launch in 2019. The 1.2 liter engine costs appriox. 50,000 rupees extra.

This car is entering the end of it's life cycle which is six years. So, you see offers and incentives to keep buyers interested before it becomes a sole taxi car with "Tour" designation.

Today at my local mall i checked out latest cars from TATA Motors, Hyundai, Skoda and Nissan. The all new TATA Curvv coupe SUV looks really cool in the flesh and my first time seeing it. Was very difficult to check it out as public was eager to see the car upclose. Lots of competition. So, a new and improved WagonR will appear just like the 4th gen Swift debuted in May24.
