i recently imported a toyota starlet from UK without and engine.
i then sourced a 4E-FTE engine and installed forged pistons and replaced the rods from a 3SGT.
i want to know how much boost can the engine now take safely.
i do want the car to be somewhat daily drivable.
I'm thinking of changing out CT9 for a bigger turbo too since it isn't that much effective over 10-11 psi.
can somebody pls suggest some figures for me?

i do have a td05 turbo charger.
if anyone could tell me, will it pair easily with the 4e-fte and also how much bar should i be pushing.
i was thinking around 1.7 or 1.9 (high).
also the block is from a 5E-FHE.
and also what injectors should i be running and other details too as its my first project car.

You need to calculate static and dynamic compression ratio after pistons and rods replacements. I hope the head been torqued to the right spec's.

every thing was done in the correct way by a professional. all im confused about is what pressure i should run and is a td05 a good option.
also what injectors should i be running and also, what internals would i need to change out if i want to run 2 bar?

Calculate the compression ratio first, then decide the boost.
Td05 will work.
400 to 500cc injectors will work while keeping the correct fuel pressure.
Which engine's crankshaft?

crankshaft is stock should i change it?
and also how do i calculate the ratio and how do i decide the boost according to the ratio?

If its not out from 4efte then no chance it won't survive.
And td05 can handle the bashing easily.
You can pull around 230-250whp from it.

so, dont change the crank, td05 is okay and about 1.8 bar of boost and 600 cc injectors
does that sound okay ?

Please share the complete specs of your engine and the ecu you are going to run.
You don't need to use too big injectors if you're not going to use them.
