I am using Mazda Carol JDM AUTO TRANSMISSION 2012. It has a fuel average of 16 ltr/km approx until i got an Engine Light alongwith milage dropped to 11/12 and poor gear shift i guess during initial speeds, causing a very slow pickup and if i push paddle hard, Engine noise is too high and it starts jerkking. Went to Mohsin Autos near Malir Halt. He read the code and said it is normally about Cat Convertor. He suggested its cleaning or replacing it with another one. I purchased one feom shershad karachi. After installing it, check light is still ON alogwith poor milage, slow gear shifting initially and same jerkking issue if i push the paddle hard. AC also stops working during halts and some times during normal car speeds.
Please someone to help me out giving directions to correct solution and a good mechanic in karachi
