Sure why not , i will be more than happy to share my rotary engine knowledge with anyone who wants to know about this beautiful engine ,

ROTARY ENGINES ARE AS BAD AS ITS OWNER !!!!!

^^people who know about rotary engines know what i am talking about .^^

TIPS ABOUT KEEPING YOUR RX-8 and RX-7 (ROTARY ENGINE HAPPY)

1. always put Hi-Octane fuel
2. let you car warm up first before driving
3. never shut off your rotary engine when it is cold , it will cause engine flood
4. use only non-synthetic oil for your car
5. change engine oil at 2500km or 3000km (i change it at 1500km for my RX-7
6. always change oil filter when when changing engine oil
7. always top up your engine oil when you refuel your car (rotary=oil burn)
8. let the car rest for a while (2mins) before switching off the engine
9. rotary engines are rev happy by default
10.red line your engine occasionally , rotary engine enjoys to be red lined

these are the 10 Tips which every RX-7 and RX-8 owner should follow , and if they follow it correctly i bet there will no premature rotary engine failure in Pakistan.

An additional piece of advice from my side.

When your fuel tank goes empty, BEFORE filling the tank up, put 1/2 a litre of engine oil (non-synthetic) into your fuel tank. This provides the seals sufficient lubrication so that if you have forgotten to check the oil level or your oil lines are choked, your seals wont get damaged.

nice piece of advice , but my friend forgetting to check your rotary engines oil is not a exception :S

We have to , and have to check engine oil and coolant levels regularly .

New RX-7 in Pakistan (Karachi) , hmmm , i dont think so Saad , the last production year for RX-7 was 2002 , how can we import those models , when we have a import ban on cars for 3 years old ,

I can be wrong also ,

is there a loop hole , that is legal.

Depends on what type of RX-7 , which year , and the condition of the car.

1jz or 2jz engine swaped RX-7 will cost you around 8 to 13 lacks max

1999 to 2001 (2002) with rotary engines , those are very expensive high 17 to 25

note : the prices are just estimate and may vary .

quite the opposite Fahad. All the 1jz/2jz rx7s that have been sold in the last year have ranged from a minimum of 9.5lacs up to 13.5lacs.

There havent been many rotary rx7s for sale lately since there arent many left but without taking names and mentioning specific cars I can tell you for a fact that the most recent rotary rx7s have gone for as low as 6.75lacs up to 9lacs on average with the exception of one being sold for 13.5-14.5lacs which, btw, was originally bought for 6.75 lacs :D. Once again no names but a few months ago a rotary rx7 was sold for 8.25 lacs.

As far as demands go I know ppl who are demanding 22 for their 1j rx7s whereas there are rotary owners who are demanding 16-17 but the truth of the actual sales I have mentioned and at the end of the day it doesnt matter how much u want its about how much ppl are willing to pay.

RX7 from year 1999 and above (series 8) are expensive

RX7 from year 1995-1998 (series 6 and 7 ) fall under the category of 6 to 9 laks with rotary engines

Hey Saad , so you finally got the pictures
well this Rx7 seems to be a series 6 or series 7 . hehehe when you first said that there is a new white RX7 in karachi , i was excited and thought that it was a 2000 or 2001 model , but then quickly realized that those models cannot be imported to pakistan ,

the silver rx7 which used to be a car deals was bought by my friend and it has been painted to blue which comes in rx7 with rx8 rims . i think u r talking abt that particular blue rx7?????

R u really a ROTARY ENTHUSIAST ?? i dont think so.. well doesnt matter... atleast dont claim to be one.. at one side u claim to be one at the other side your backing the peeps off the rotary love... Now my frend i was born in a rotary loving family... my father had a rx7 savanah.. we never faced problems by the rotary.. we still have rotaries running in our family.. its only if u don't abuse the freaking engine it wont screw u up.. it just wants a bit of love.. give love take love... as far as JZ-GTE in a rx7.. I've seen some in the US.. around the world and yes in Pakistan tooo. First off all the JZ was made for Toyotas and not Mazdas. Second it F**ks up the cars drive.. u need to get some modifications to your car to get the super JZ in it.. please see i dont say the JZ is a bad engine.. one of my favorites but again its for toyota... rotaries are easy to fix up... u can bust open a rotary.. fix it up.. assemble it back in one day.. but i guess thts not happening if u have a piston engine.. As far as rotary backup in Pakistan.. i still know ppl in Pakistan running rotaries.. as for the prices Fahd Chapra mentioned weren't different to what you mentioned.. plus u dint even get wht he wrote man... anyhow if so eager to swap the so called unreliable piece of **** rotary from a rx7.. why not with a Corvette engine.. now thts wht u call power... now i suppose u'l start wining tht corvette engines arent avaliable in pakistan hahahahaha wel then get one imported.. dude u seriusly sound like a noob king ricer
