Salam As the Titile says I bought an Rx8 a week before its on Rotary Engine i havent Kept Rotary Before Always had 1j and 2j Toyota Engine this is the 1st time i bought a Rotary Car is 2006 model and driven 45000 orignal Millege i just changed my mobil oil to Mobil Super 1000 15w-40 is it the correct oil as it was sujjested by friend whos having a rotary for more then 3 years and he always used da same oil now i want to know from expert what oil shuld be used in it as of Pakistan Weather and Availability... and i know All stuff i should take care of and All...

I have heard that rotary engine's need 2t engine oil to lubricate apex seal 2t oil burn complete and are ash free as well

The JDM's service manual states 5w-20 API SL/ ILSAC GF-3 for the 2004 model, regardless of temperature.

Inb4 "ye gaari oil jalaati hai", "Pakistani environment", "Pakistani fuel quality", "beees dublu pacchaas".

its meant to burn some oil, crankcaseoil is actually injected into the combustion chambers

no it wont, any synthetic oil burns at a very high temperature and is not favourable in a combusting environment, use mineral oil
