Ummm... Well yes, according to what you are thinking, I agree to what you've said. But, it depends on an individual's present status/condition as to select the better option that suits him. As the name suggests, EMBA is for executives. They can however do MBA if they want. They'll study the same thing after all. Most probably, the University that is offering MBA classes only on the weekends either would have named the course EMBA or would not be offering EMBA at all. But it is not for fresh graduates or I must say, they should not be given admission in it. To me, the major difference however is just in the name.
My conclusion: If you are inexperienced, go for full MBA as you'll learn more. If you have good experience on your CV, go for EMBA as you really don't have to learn the vary basics.
