McLaren F1 crash Melbourne

These four pictures belong to the same car; first picture was taken in the Melbourne Motor Show 2002(one of only 5 F1s in Australia).
Second picture was taken when this car crashed in a horrified accident.

This car had to go through complete rebuilt situation and was rebuilt after spending piles of money; this automotive repair is considered to be the most expensive repair in Australian history..

Third and fourth pictures were taken in last year Grand Prix; car is 100% fit and back on road.
It was never mentioned that how it cost to repair the car, but one thing is for sure that this car was sent back to Stuttgart for repair.

Why was it sent to Stuttgart ?? One would think it would be sent to Woking for repairs.

there was an article in the local paper about the repair of the car, thats how we know that it was repaired.

personally i think replacing the car would not be cheaper than repairing the car.
