Medium budget high fuel average car (hybrid, electric, petrol)

I need help deciding which car to buy. I currently own a suzuki cultus 2019 manual transmission with 100k plus mileage. I travel daily around 100 km to office and back home. I have zero knowledge and experience of hybrid and electric cars but now given the fuel cost considerations I want to see if there is a way to reduce my running costs. I also want to upgrade to automatic/cvt transmission due to traffic and long journey. The maximum I can stretch my budget is around 40-45 lacs in which I will be selling the existing cultus and using that money as down-payment and financing the rest through some bank.
I want honest educated opinion on the following:
1- keep this car and wait for car prices to cool down and for new and better options in market by 2023 end or 2024 start.

2-Buy a standard b segment sedan. Honda city or yaris or alsvin being 3 main options. Honda city 1.2 or 1.5 main choice.

3- Buy any old hybrid or electric car. Aqua, note, etc.. In this category I'm blank and want to know if these cars are a better option or do they end up costing the same as say Honda city in long run.

we dont know where is inflation in next 4 to 5 years. at that time may be may be you have to increase yo 40-45 budget o 70-75 for a good vehicle. so consider all the points in your mind and take deceision smartly.

you have to go for hatchback
* More space.
* Higher resale value.
* Shorter bonnet makes hatchbacks easier to handle.
* Better fuel efficiency than sedans.

are some good options according to your bugdet. Local alto is shaaper(lifafa) dont consider it
And if you increase you budget

Road is good. The good parts are carpeted and the few bad parts are not that bad

Back seat space in aqua is not great but overall it's a toyota so its reliable and the performance and economy is the best. Other cars cannot compete but it's more expensive in market and a good condition should be found to enjoy long term peace of mind. In my knowledge, no aqua owner has complained about it.
