You have Prius for fun factor and "innocent devil" has "red mamba", you guys don't need 1.6 but those people who have Suzuki or any other old car.. Don't you think they deserve or need 1.6 to have some fun as well.
By the way before buying Prius, why didn't you consider its resale factor?
You know that you will loose money, if you sell it now.. Was your money grown on trees?
No it's not like that it's just a personal choice or preference..

Bro many people don't need the "fun", they just need a car that looks good and drives good and has reasonable power to take them across highways, Motorway and hilly areas. As far as the Prius is concerned, I knew it will lose money but didn't have any good alternative option as 9th Gen Civic failed to impress me, I needed a car that was lighter on the pocket to run and is a reliable daily driver which I can keep for the years to come, so the resale issue was partially eliminated. It was more of a necessity than a choice but I opted for the Touring variant to balance things out, I do not regret even a single day of making the decision to buy a Prius. The way I have kept my car, it won't lose a lot of money if I sell it within my social circle, anyway, this is Ahmad bhai's thread and it should stay focused on his GLi AT.

1.6 is same in looks as gli auto
same sticker of ect auto on trunk
same front grill
same interior
body wise its same
just rims are changed
most of the people here dont prefere "drive" factor they just see outer looks which gli and altis have same
ofcourse altis have a good drive but
outer looks are same plus resale factor comes in when choosing between gli and altis 1.6
if imc had given grande's speed o meter,
full chrome grill
fog lamps
and retractable mirrors
every one had gone for 1.6 instead for gli auto

Yes in DHA phase 8 opposite to Total Petrol pump i think its khayaban e iqbal ( dont remember exactly )
But its the best place for photoshoot
It was difficult for me to take both cars there myself otherwise photoshoot of Predator vs Red Mamba would have been much better and impressive

Front = Corolla
Rear= I think of both, though personal preference would be civic but Corolla too this time has no parallel.

Ride Height: of course civic.

Though in real world terms, because the civic is an old model, corolla does outrun it. It is really a shame that the current model of civic is not worthy to even compete with the corolla in looks.

Even if you are using it on mobile
Select FULL SITE or DESKTOP VIEW
You can find these two options either at the very top of page or at the bottom on the right side
And when it opens the window in desktop style
Go to the quick reply window and select uploading images? Try our easy image replies
And then you can attach upto 5 images in one go

Both the cars are looking super good mashAllah.
I believe the red colour and low height of Civic is enhancing its looks.
Otherwise it would not have looked so hot have it been in any other colour.

8th gen looks really beautiful in Habanero red and yes low height is enhancing its looks
But i believe Reborn looks really attractive in most of the colors like White , Black , silver , Lapis blue metallic and Habanero Red

well brother i think i should disagree with you in regards to the outer look of altis 1.6.
I think you haven't checked it closely, i have super white color and same grande alloy rims.. just need to add front grill fake chrome strips :P.
It looks nothing less than Grande. Super white is the only color, which makes it look like grande. May be it was the only reason i opted 1.6;), in love with the color.
Lets come to the interior part, yes i agree with you that it doesn't look like grande but according to indus 1.6 has better fabric on seats than 1.3, plus you get factory fitted 7" lcd with ready navi system, gps and back view camera not as good as grande but its satisfactory.
I am not here to disregard anyone's perception or opnion just trying to say that in 1.25 lacs extra you get a car with most of the goodies required for self satisfaction.
Anyways no offence to anyone, personal opinion though.

Of course every little thing matters, including the speedo. It can't be swapped between the two variants. Chrome grill has strips inside the headlight as well, which requires swapping the lights with new ones or pasting cheap chrome stickers over them.

People want their car to show off status. If all this were available in 1.6 altis, people simply won't give a single f**k to whether its a CVTi or Super ECTi. Only buyers like me who got the car to check out the new transmission would have bought it.

Heck, I didn't even know about the new 2ZR-FE until I got the car... lol
