well brother i think i should disagree with you in regards to the outer look of altis 1.6.
I think you haven't checked it closely, i have super white color and same grande alloy rims.. just need to add front grill fake chrome strips :P.
It looks nothing less than Grande. Super white is the only color, which makes it look like grande. May be it was the only reason i opted 1.6;), in love with the color.
Lets come to the interior part, yes i agree with you that it doesn't look like grande but according to indus 1.6 has better fabric on seats than 1.3, plus you get factory fitted 7" lcd with ready navi system, gps and back view camera not as good as grande but its satisfactory.
I am not here to disregard anyone's perception or opnion just trying to say that in 1.25 lacs extra you get a car with most of the goodies required for self satisfaction.
Anyways no offence to anyone, personal opinion though.

Ajeeb baat kartay hain thanday bhai... If all this were available in 1.6 Altis, who would've gone for the stupid 1.8L Altis? Do you really believe people give a damn to 2ZR-FE and CVTi here? LOL

well i myself will gofor 1.6 instead of gli IN SHA ALLAH.
but most of the people dont know the technical spec of cars they believe in looks and shashkas of cars which grande have.
gli is for those people who always thinks for resell or cng
while 1.25k is not a big amount
but people here prefere gli or grande 1.6 comes between them
i said if imc had given some good features specially if they have given the altis badge they should had given some good features.
like retractable mirrors
full chrome grill and grande type speedo meter every one will prefere 1.6 over gli.
while grande should have came with immoblizer, auto ac etc etc

Indeed. It should have immobilizer and climate control, the interior of Grande, though looks really nice but still looks a bit out dated because of those round Ac knobs.

Jump starting my Grande . Battery died because car was in top cover for straight 40 days .
Happened 2 months back also when i was on a 15 day trip after coming i had to jump start it

I just recently came from karachi after 35 days and the car started just like its being used daily..and the tracker is also installed
