This has been discussed many times in this thread and almost all other Corolla Threads
I do agree Grande offers the best transmission and a really powerful engine and other goodies
But one should look at his priorities first before getting any car and should think about the daily routes and driving style too
My routes are always jam packed you cant really floor a mehran within peak rush hours where i mostly drive , i have to go to phase 8 to test the limits of any car and even there you cant cross 180 in any 1.8 ltr car since the distance from point A to B on a straight road isnt that much
1.8 1.6 and 1.3 all are same for me within these conditions where mostly you have to travel bumper to bumper
And yes if thats the thinking then Corolla is definitely not the car for you or anyone who thinks the same
Yes if you say To Hell with Resale then I repeat Corolla is not the car for you ( even Grande has same handling and same interior plastics )
Anyone who is saying this should have gone for Honda Vezel or other better options in 3 million category
Now dont think that all those gorgeous cars would hardly fetch 12 to 15 lacs after 2 , 3 years but Grande will atleast fetch same as Gli around 18 lacs ( To Hell with Resale
