What you meant by file your 'return', verify your 'return'? What actually is RETURN?
Return is a document, in which you furnish details of your income and tax paid thereon.
And after all these procedures, I must have to consult a lawyer?
There is no any need to consult a lawyer, if you can file your return by yourself. I also did so without consulting any lawyer. It's that easy courtesy online e-filing system introduced by FBR.
Plus, what did you mean by this: "you have to file return for tax year 2014 (July 2013 to June 2014)"
In Pakistan, tax year begins from 1st July and ends on 30th June next year. When you are going to file your return, the system will ask you the period for which you want to file your return, select the period 'July 2013 - June 2014' (Tax year 2014) in order to become filer for tax year 2014.
