Got the tank refilled today ( 2nd refill )
Covered 468 kms in full tank still it was showing range of 70 plus kms
Kept waiting for the low fuel indication , but still there was around 8 to 10 % fuel left , finally got the tank refilled again as I usually keep at least half tank of fuel , because of the strikes , protests and traffic jams in Karachi .
You can calculate the fuel Avg
It's around 9.7 km/l
Mixed driving style 75 % economy mode RPM between 2 - 3
1% floored it
10 % RPM touching 4000
Rest idling with AC

means over the time and in my case in Islamabad traffic 10-11 km/l is easily possible.

1. 4000 rpm
2. Idling with A/C
3. Flooring

This Means it could have been up to eleven in your case if Not Twelve.

This Means a little more in Islamabad so 12/13.

THIS Means that as the Vehicle's mileage Crosses 1000, 5000 & 10000 km, in Islamabad at least we CAN Expect 14-15 staying Under 3000 Rpm, no?

Stay away from it
I mean either stay away from CNG
OR
stay away from a car of near 2 million rupees and that too automatic
If you have a plan to keep the car for atleast 4 years
Search for a 10 / 10 condition toyota prius 1.5 and go for that
That's the only option in auto and economical
Rest if you are really in love with new corolla
Be the 1st one here to try this experiment on " Manual transmission new corolla xli or gli "
I would never suggest installing CNG in the first place even in manual
And don't even think about installing it in 1.3 Ltr auto and such a heavy car !

14 to 15 , I don't think so
Yes you can get around 11 to 12 if driven carefully in eco zone , most of the routes include signal free corridors and after the initial running in period that is after 5000 kms

And by 1 % flooring I meant
I floored just once
By 4 k rpm I meant , touching the 4 k rpm in first gear when you have to move fast rest in 2nd and 3rd gears again in eco zone

even at IMC website there is very less gap in the car's pics contrary to reality
slight speedometer error is acceptable for looks though!

9-10 kpl is a little less than acceptable ...... 12-13 to honi chahya thi yar.............................. and 14-15 is not possible even 1.3 manual 10th gen b nai deti thi...13kpl was max

We all fail to understand this small and simple fact
It depends on the driving style , routes and how many times we sit in the car with AC and running engine without driving it !
Avg drops significantly ( in any car ) if they are not driven in eco zone that's 2 to 3 rpm max ,
If we have multiple stops and signals in the way
And if we wait in the car with running engine and AC on
outside different shops etc when rest of the family members are busy in shopping

This is International corolla's cluster pic with cruise activated
we have the same cluster in our local corolla xli and Gli

the steering wheel also has that cruise switch area which is covered and closed with a plastic cover

the different signs and indications in the Speedometer aren't clearly visible due to the matrix and mosaic chain pattern inside it
its really difficult to see these signs until they lit up like handbrake sign , seat belt etc

I can see the vehicle traction control indication if I look very carefully in the fuel indication chamber where odo trip display is written
And if I look very carefully I can see something where we can se cruise ( green ) indication in international version
I have a feeling it can be installed
but still confused !

Heard it's coming in end of October or November if not October
But I am not sure
Will ask in 10 to 15 days when I will go for 1000 km inspection !

The same speedometer is used in many international variants of Toyota Corolla but you know the tactics of our local car manufacturers here, they can go to any extent in order to save a few bucks and to strip away all the features they can. If there is a light for cruise (essentially required to complete the cruise circuit) in the speedometer than the only thing which you need is an altis clock spring and an after market cruise control switch which is readily available and can be easily found with little research on the net

The technician charged 2 k rupees for the installation back in 2012 when I installed this in my Reborn .. max he would take 2500 to 3 k now
