Meet My Gorgeous Honda Civic X Turbo 2016

Soon i will be racing both A3 1.8tfsi and 1.5T civic, want to know which one is quicker till 100kph but after 100kph A3 will easily beat the civic as my A3 has beaten markx 300G, Euro R , rx8 6spd, H22 96 civic, B16 civic, H22 type S cf4 accord, c200cgi, e250cgi and tundra....lost to few cars as well

1. a3 will beat it of course, it is more compact than 9th gen but with more hp and torque than civic x turbo but it is difficult for bigger audis (a4, a5) with 1.8 tfsi as more weight hinders acceleration.

2. cvt doesn't launch as hard as common auto or dual clutch transmissions but 1.5t pulls really hard after launch when we consider the following

i. it matches 0-100 of a3 even when being down on torque, hp and paired with cvt
ii. it is barely 1-2 tenths slower than a3 in quarter mile and completes the quarter mile around 88 mph while audi completes it at 84

manual turbo (expected next year) would surely beat 1.8 tfsi and will be close to performance of older tunes of 2.0 tfsi. (Audi's shave a 10th or two every year off due to minor improvement even when specs remain same on paper)

I dont think there is any need of flooring your brandnew engine. A3 1.8 tfsi is faster
0 to 100 of Civic Turbo = 7.2 to 7.5 seconds
0 to 100 of A3 1.8 = 7.1 to 7.2 seconds

0 to 200 of Civic Turbo = 32 - 35 seconds
0 to 200 of A3 = 28.5 seconds

Umm u can floor one time if u want it is not going to harm your engine anyway, i started flooring my reborn civic manual wen it was 600km done as i had to take part for autocross and changed the engine oil right after 1000km. Btw my civic is still kicking other civic reborn manual on drag races and give around 10km/L average.

A3 1.8tfsi does in 27sec to reach 200kph....my A3 is tuned and i have done in 22-23sec to reached 200kph

Yes Alhamdulilah these are mine. I purchased these from Honda Dubai. They cost me 5040 AED which coincidentally equals 145,000RS. like you mentioned.

Which color have you booked ? When is the delivery expected ? Any update on the modifications that you were thinking ? Hondata reflash as you said is not possible here

One of my friend also got these lights from Dubai for his cousins costed him 5300aed, i was shocked to hear this high price as i want these with RS body kit...i think m gonna spend on rims/tires and maybe engine mods [emoji14]

Yes I am sure the rates will come down next year , meanwhile it makes more sense to spend on the add ons you have mentioned

Go for lyari expressway from Sohrabh Goth to maripur. I have touched 185 in my gli easily

Stock A3 1.8tfsi does quartermile around 14.8-15 sec with 94-96mph, a friend in other country his A3 1.8tfsi apr flash tuned did in 13.8sec doing 103mph.
I had A4 1.8tfsi which was doing 100kph in 8.2sec due to a lot weight than A3 1.8tfsi n less power as well

Honda Quaideen is giving excuses saying end of Sept due to shortage of 1.5T, anyhow m not in hurry as i know nothing gonna happen even i pressure the dealership. I booked in lunar silver and hondata reflash has to send your original ecu to them which mean to US, but unichip did the testing and made over 220hp by adding few bolt-on with unichip.

very nicely narrated mate , my two question since m planning to book one inshALLAH a Turbo version .
first one is that ECU chips are available for Turbo versions . are you planning for it and you have info on that one ?
what about the Top end ? you mentioned about the acceleration but wht you feel about its top speed ?

No sir , i dont know much about these chips , Hondata reflash is a really nice upgrade but unfortunately impossible for us as we will have to send our ECU there for proper setting
One of our member tried Racechip , but i dont find any difference in his car's performance and acceleration

About top speed .. well if I write any particular figure like for example I feel it can do 220 plus that would be wrong as I havent tried it .. but as I said this car is really fast and reaches 200 km/h in 32 to 35 seconds I dont know if there is any speed limiter or not , but if there is no limiter it can do 220 plus easily that is what I feel ..
Still looking for any good and safe track here in karachi so I can try the top speed ..

Sir that road isnt safe anymore . The emaar project road they have also made 2 huge speed rather car breakers one infront of total pump and the other one just before the road that goes to Creek Vista so I dont think we can do 200 there .

This Eid all the cuz meet up as usual at my aunts for the family eid lunch while waiting for the food to be set we started admiring one of the new civic oriel in metalic grey bought recently by a cuz of mine, All jumped in went for a drive it was really a beauty 3 cameras front, back and indash , push start. rear ac vents gr8 stero plenty of toys.

so we decided to comapare it with the vezel, prius and new altis grande plus the old civic oriel also parked in the drive. obviously the lexus's & hilux were left out.

All came too a conclusion the new civic is 1000 times better then the old civic and till now no local car in production can beat its too good! but imports nah along way to go matey for the money spent.

the body felt really like sheet typical of local make my dad was is it almumium why does it feel soo light no strenght at all this was a major let down rest all in all well done honda!

plus side is 2 of us out 5 cuz are buying it one is selling his old 2 yr old civic and the other sold his 2014 city recently and was looking at a 2012 prius for his family run around is also getting one and this guy always been a civic vti buyer/ fan since 1997 had every model till the previous model he ventured into the world of hybrids.

I on the other hand just imported a toyota hilux invincible 2012 plus just took delivery last week of my grande for the Mrs seem like oh well too late now!! till next year when its time to replace the prius.

About body panels and strength , fazal bhai has already explained it in detail , it is designed and made in such a way to absorb maximum impact so thats why the body panels feel light
Even international Civic X is like this ( correct me if I am wrong here )

Sure let me know wen u r done from papers, i forgot to add pic of doing top speed run but it was damn scary also do search my A3 video of doing 0-190kph on youtube as it was done near emaar.

I had A4 1.8tfsi which was doing 100kph in 8.2sec due to a lot weight than A3 1.8tfsi n less power as well

stock 1.5t does quarter mile in 14.9(in countries where 0-100 in 6.8 sec) - 15.2 (where 0-100 is 7.5 sec) at 86-89 mph. variance in performance across the globe creates confusion so I've searched C&D as their range of tests is more extensive and standardized than other autoblogs.

1. 0-60 mph (0-96.5 kph), a3: 6.5 sec, civic: 6.8 sec (civic being slower due to softer launch with cvt)
2. 0-100 mph (0-161 kph), a3: 18.7 sec, civic: 17.7 sec (which makes civic faster above 100, like I said, once in motion 1.5t pulls better
3. quarter mile, a3: 15.2 sec at 91mph, civic: 15.3 sec at 94 mph
4. top speed: a3: 129 mph, civic: 126 mph (both limiter controlled but I've read untamed Audi doing 256 on meter, 243 gps) no idea about civic.

these tests were in controlled conditions, in real world, German cars have better fuzzy logic programmed to adapt to differences in fuel, weather, road and other environmental variables so under adverse conditions (adverse = normal for Pakistan) a3 can outrun civic easily.
