Sir, if you observe closely there is a considerable difference in the orange peel effect between the plastic trim and the metal part of the trunk of the civic you showed.
The bumpers and the plastic trim even on the Cruze I am driving have more orange peel than the rest of the body. I don't know the reason for that. Probably they paint these parts separately.
The thing is orange peel is very much there on the USDM cars.
The merc and the prado in the pics have probably been rubbed and polished several times by now, whereas your civic is new.
There can be an argument on the thickness and the durability factor of the paint on Pakistani cars. But as far as orange peel and the shine is concerned ,they are pretty much the same.
