Any reason why u went for 0w20 as it is very thin oil for our climate, i think 5w30 or 0w30 fully synthetic is perfect for our hot/warm climate.

So you are saying that Honda atlas has gone mad, they didn't consider the Pakistani environment before Introducing 0w 20 for civic turbo ???

Definitely since its summer and temperatures will soon cross 40 degrees o-w20 is good for winters but definitely not summer

Just started reading your thread yesterday night randomly as was diverted towards civic X from the last 2 days went through a thorough read and it was soo interesting and informative that ended reading it just right now. All the races and test were brilliant and after reading soo much about the Civic X turbo we are planning to buy the turbo variant. My father was confused between the 1.8 and 1.5 but I always wanted the 1.5 but did not had any solid reason for my choice thanks to you and all the members who wrote to this thread and finalised my decision for the turbo civic with solid proofs and tests. Obviously if one is spending 2.8 million for a 1.8 just 3lacks is not a big deal and you enter in a new world of the automotive and for guys like me who are deas auto enthusiasts turbo is the ultimate choice. And to all the owners please tell me the delivery time I've heard 6 months is it true.

Book kra ke bhool jao bhai...unfortunately you wont get your car at least before 5 months.....unless you have a very high reference...Honda is currently giving 5-6 months of delivery time on every car ..not just civic...

just booked turbo and will receive on september 30. so yes its indeed six months

I dont know but i ve seen some US civic 1.5T owner using 5w30, as for 0w20 is very thin oil for our climate. Honda Atlas still cant solve my knocking problem after sending couple of time and they come up with excuses of poor fuel as m using total hobc and vpower. Check out this link as it says for GCC and other countries u can use 5w30 or 10w30 in civic 1.5T

I could be wrong but doesn't the new Auto Policy state that if any manufacturer takes more than 2 months for delivery, they have to pay some amount back to the customer?

But engine cooling system would not come into play to keep the oil at required viscosity?

Yes you are right about that but they are not taking full 100% amount at the time of booking
Initially when they launched this model they were just taking 1 million for booking and I am not exactly sure but I think now its 50% at the time of booking
And they count 2 months after full 100% payment and usually they give the car before that so 4 to 5 months for booking and then 2 months wait after final 100% payment unfortunately at present

Yes dear even after alot of care few swirls are here and there esp on bonnet and trunk and rear pillars

Sure i will share some new pics ( taken day before yesterday ) but you wont be able to see the swirls in pics
Thinking to get it ceramic coated in a month or two

But bro keep 2 things in your mind , at present it has a good value and resale but in the longer run after 2 to 3 years it will have slightly bad resale as compared to Oriel , Oriel wont give any big loss as such but Turbo would easily give loss of around 3 to 4 lacs and good fuel ( hi octane ) is really important if you really want to enjoy this great car.
So make sure Hi Octane is easily available in your vicinity

I am using Amsoil 5W-30 and it is running perfectly fine. Honda Atlas are a bunch of baboons.

Lol. That is on race fuel. You won't get that on normal petrol. But you'll be close to 200 hp
