Ahmad bhai apply very thin layer of wax as Omar bhai shared picture. i can get over 40 applications very easily with one tin of #26 wax.
Excess is not only wastage of wax/ money but also increasing risk of appearing more swirls on car paint, as for think dry wax layer you will put more hand pressure to remove wax residue means more chances of swirls.
Wax curing time vary by temperature in ur area, #26 wax is recommended by one panel at a time however now a days its quite humid so u can do 2 panels very easily , means apply wax on 2 panels and than buffoff residue with clean folded microfiber cloth, turn arround microfiber to give one more wipe for supreme shine.
to check wax curing time do finger test, once u apply wax after few minuts it will haze and show some whitish layer , wipe ur finger on that white residue and if its dry and easily remove whitish residue means its cure and u can buff off residue with microfiber cloth.
