I simply followed the process you shared with members of this thread.

1) Double bucket wash with Meg Nxt Wash and Wash mitten
2) Pat and Dab drying with Meg Water Magnet and Supreme Shine Microfiber
3) Panel by Panel waxing with Meguiars Ultimate Wax using Meg even coat applicator pads and Wipe with Meg Microfiber
4) Meg Quick Detailer Spray application after wax to seal the wax and wipe with microfiber
5) Meg Endurance Tire Spray application on the tires and wiping the extra
6) Meg Natural Shine Interior Spray to protect the interior after vacuum cleaning.

This was only the second time i have done something like this on my own and it took me 4 hours. I wouldn't have done it without guidance of pros like you helping and encouraging novices like me to take proper care of our cars.

Apart from the satisfaction you get from it once it starts shinning... i believe its a great workout for lazy bums like me.

Care to explain drying process with water magnet. I am still not understanding it fully. By the time i am 2 panels away from finishing. The wm stops absorbing water n seem to just move water underneath itself

what is its main use?

i know that we have to use it with pressure washer,,,,

but do this foam lance contains shampoo as well,, or what would be the ingredients in it???

Its basically touch less wash and the foam is used to clear dirt and grim which doesn't come off with water.

Yes! No doubt Meguairs Ultimate wax results are excellent.
Actually I don't have time so that's why I do it as early possible.

1) Karcher High Pressure Water Pump with Megs NXT Car wash.
2) Megs Quick Detailer

car shampoos very mild they cant fight hard against oil and grease, next time try dedicated meguiars super degreaser and see wonders

As a newbie to detailing world I've started to feel that detailing is a gift and a curse!

Finally after 10 days I found some time to do Meg Shampoo & Wax with 2-bucket system using meg stuff.

End result... got too tired to do wax and felt content with Shampoo/Wax job.

Will try to apply wax on weekend InshAllah.

Ahmad bhai, I find corolla too big to manage to wash.. how I can do it in parts so that soap doesn't dry and leave marks?

I did at evening time to ensure body is cool... but then in the morning i found few spots... lolzz.. not a good job :)

Deatiling a car is like making love with woman , so spending more time together means more pleasure and more love
Also word "detailing " means indepth detail cleaning, protection and beautifying.
its also a good exercise, once during travelling i read in inflight magzine that if once a week wash and wax car than chances of heart attack minimize by 60 to 70 %

btw wives hate if husband take rest on sunday as their shopping lists always ready in bag , so car detailing is good source to be busy and savings too

i am following this red beauty from very first day it landed karachi , at shahzaib place and than finally you won her heart and bring her at ur home MashAllah very very beautiful car in such hot color and superb condition

if she is with me i would follow following recipe

1) meguiars ultimate wash and wax shampoo
2) smooth surface clay kit
3) again meguiars wash and wax shampoo
4) meguiars ultimate polish
5) meguiars hi tech #26 paste wax ( 2 coats with interval of few hours )
6) next day meguiars ultimate detailer wipe

than just maintain with routine shampoo wash and wax coat and between 2 washes just detailer spray wipe

clay will cleanse her skin like multani miti mask for ladies face bring out real smooth and cleanze surface

polish will feed her skin natural oils , naurish the dry skin , deep dark color tone and real deep inner shine or glow

26 wax is hybrid , further give depth in color tone and enhance reflections

ultimate detailer having synthetic polymers which will give hydrophobic shield to ur all work and repel water and dust and further enhance mirror reflections

7) Meguiars endurance tyer spray
8) meguiars quick interior detailer for whole interior and black trims of car
