due to recent barsaat and flooded roads with rain and sewerage water make bad smell in car cabin.
moist , humidity and when turn on AC than ac air also have same humid, moist and bad smell.

Here Rains were in 2011 and as i remember i parked my car 3 4 hours in sunlight and smell were gone

park car in sun with windows open.
Happened to my car too as water came in the back carpet.
Sponged out the water and left car in blazing sun with windows open( at home that is) and it worked.
Even at work i opened the window a tiny bit and parked car in sun.....Once dried use odour eliminator by meguiars

Hahahaha nahi nahi not like this . Actually when I back pakistan last week So I faced this situation with my Cars. Though I rectify it but I wished to know What rest of brothers dealing with this situation

I believe that once your carpet is soaked with water, you must remove the whole thinf and dry it otherwise your car will have rust issues.

Rain and moisture inside the cabin gives a very very foul smell. This is why I keep Chemical Guys purple stuff scent in my car. It neutralizes the odour. Moisture also promotes bacteria growth. CG air freshners are great in this case because they are antibacterial. They also have an incredible smell and the one I have (purple stuff) smells like a grape soda and i love it. Its pretty economical. I've been using it every week or more since around 5 months and I still have more than half left with me.
You are supposed to dilute it with water according to your taste.

I recently learned in CG video that you can flush your airconditionerof nasty smells with this stuff by turning on the fan on full blast and turn on the a/c and air circulation button.
Spray 2-3 sprays if concentrate in the foot area where the ducts are and let it run for 10 minutes.

i am following this red beauty from very first day it landed karachi , at shahzaib place and than finally you won her heart and bring her at ur home MashAllah very very beautiful car in such hot color and superb condition

if she is with me i would follow following recipe

1) meguiars ultimate wash and wax shampoo
2) smooth surface clay kit
3) again meguiars wash and wax shampoo
4) meguiars ultimate polish
5) meguiars hi tech #26 paste wax ( 2 coats with interval of few hours )
6) next day meguiars ultimate detailer wipe

than just maintain with routine shampoo wash and wax coat and between 2 washes just detailer spray wipe

clay will cleanse her skin like multani miti mask for ladies face bring out real smooth and cleanze surface

polish will feed her skin natural oils , naurish the dry skin , deep dark color tone and real deep inner shine or glow

#26 wax is hybrid , further give depth in color tone and enhance reflections

ultimate detailer having synthetic polymers which will give hydrophobic shield to ur all work and repel water and dust and further enhance mirror reflections

7) Meguiars endurance tyer spray
8) meguiars quick interior detailer for whole interior and black trims of car

And you also gave some of it to me. It's a very good product. I have also kept it in my car. Just a puff needed to neutralize any nasty odour.
