In the paint phase.... denting work completed .... primer sprayed in the engine room.... will soon share pics ..... in 20-25 days i hope i would be able to finally start the car for the 1st time

Thanks bro i hope this thread would prove useful to people planning to restore their mehran.... Yes bro i will definitely setup A/C since i have installed japanese alto vxr dash, cooler and engine with compressor... Its just a matter of installing pipes and wires.... Moreover K6A's A/C is ways better than F8B's

bro i just got K6A AT4 With OD from MR wagon mf22s fitted in FX and i and having some issues regarding the speedometer i have arranged the speedometer from same model of engine and ecu and now my electrition does not have the wiring diagram of the speedometer.

Don't know about Mr Wagon K6A ..... i got K6A from Suzuki Alto (same shape as our pakistan Alto 1000cc) and have fitted dash and meter (rpm meter) of the same alto ....

So guys after Covid-19, another personal minor setback, as well as issues with previous painter, i gave my project to another painter and this is the progress he did in 5 days .... these 5 days were the only days in which my car was worked upon after covid-19:

Hopefully in 10 days paint work will get completed and then all the stuff would be assembled .... hope i can get this jinaaza (literally those ustaads and painters have breached my patience) ready in a month ..... Parallel, i have booked a Suzuki Alto VXL via bank on 50% down payment because recently i took the car on a 500km road trip and back with four people and like its drive, AC performance, suspension etc... wanted to book yaris but didn't had enough capital at the moment ....

Yes u rite, these ustads and dentar /pentar have no heart, they dont care about our heard earned money, the amount wasted as well as the time wasted by them in completing the projects.

dont get hardhearted, now minor things remains u have passed the main phase of alteration. Keep it up.

Installed sound damping sheets in all doors.... made a very huge difference in feel of the doors:

POWER SIDE MIRRORS... Will color them white to match the car:

Nahi bhai wohi k6a hay sirf intake cover utara huwa hay.... Haan yaar maximus but to tell u the truth achi sound damping sheets hain

Finally some progress. Good to see the car getting in shape.

my suggestions:
The most important thing. Is the engine balanced? not tilting towards right. please check with a level scale.
Please check if the engine intake manifold not hitting the firewall.
Ac compressor pipes not hitting the front.
Radiator should be used of new model.

The area marked with red arrows. Why they are not painted.
the area where wiper mechanism is installed should be clean and without any rust

The area marked with left side, why it is not treated. this is a joint area and it is badly managed, please re do it before final fitting

The foundations are not weld properly as marked by arrows. please get them electric welded.
