Mehran 2010 VX | Engine Oil Thread

I have Mehran 2010 VX, recently i got its engine overhauled completely. Before overhauling engine i used oil of viscosity 20w-50 API SG of Total, due to white smoke emitted at start up and the weakness of engine at that time.
Thermostat valve is installed and radiator fan is working automatically as well. Right now car is break in period, oil needs to be flushed in few days.
Can experts advise oil having viscosity of 10w-40 & having API SG other than Suzuki Premium 10w-40.
Does Mehran need synthetic/semi synthetic oil or mineral oil is just enough for it

You can use Hevoline 10W40 API SL if wanna go for mineral. Otherwise Zic X7000 10W40 SL fully synthetic can be used safely.

Yes it is. But it is compatible for petrol engines too. It has more ZDDP contents which r good for mehran flat tappets. I am using this same engine oil in my 2008 efi cultus from last 10 months and very much satisfied

Go to Zic website and read X7000 10W40 engin oil detailed discription and specifications.cheers

Total 10w40 or caltax 10w40 in local oil

What about Carby Cultus hydraulic tappets? Would the same oil works fine?

Thankyou Brother for advises, bas dar tha buhat log daratay hai when using thin oil. But i assume after engine overhaul 10w40 is reasonable to use.

Never use 20w50 in carby cultus. Its hydraulic lifters need atleast 10w40 thin oil.

If machinest and mechanic done thier work properly then dont worry and use 10w40 API SL.
