Mehran Car Problems

I purchased 1998 Model Mehran.
I had to get the Hissa Work done and some welding + tyre / rim change.

Now I have following problems

Radiator issue
Car gets heated. Radiator was cleaned but still it does. However, it is working fine in Nov / Dec but in summers, Temperature needle gets raised again and again. Radiator does not reduce water but heating in summers is big issue. I have to keep radiator FAN always ON for this issue.

1. Uncomfortable / Rear Shocks

The car is very uncomfortable and is there any solution for making the car comfortable. This Kammani system is the main problem I think.

1. Gear Problem
   Gear is too hard. Especially, it creates a friction sound when putting in 3rd gear from 2nd gear or from 4th back to 3rd..

2. Engine Oil Reducing

It reduces engine oil alot. It reduced Helix 6x in less than 2000 KMs. Also, more than 2 Liters of engone oil are required to bring the oil level to 2 points on gauge.

1. Smoke (White / Bluish)

It creates white or bluish smoke in the morning when it starts. There is black thick layer on the silencer. What does that mean??

Fuel Average 12.7KM on Petrol
My car avergae fule comsumption is 12.7KM on petrol. Is there any way to increase it?

If radiator has been thoroughly serviced / cleaned, and still the problems persist, then try flushing the cooling system.

When everything gets settled, use proper coolant mixed with and equal volume of de-ionized / de-mineralised water in 50:50 ratio.

Prefer Caltex Coolant.

Fan must always be on Auto, instead of direct, and ensure that T-Valve (Thermostat Valve) is installed and is fully functional.

This Kammani system is the main problem I think.

I think nothing can be done about it, as its suspension system consists of / based on it. You'll have to bear with it.

have it checked, and if not recently, then have its transmission fluid fully replaced.

Engine Oil Reducing

It reduces engine oil alot.

Smoke (White / Bluish)

It creates white or bluish smoke in the morning when it starts

If this Bluish smoke is only in the morning, during cold start up, then it can be related to worn out valve seals,

If this problem is throughout, then most probably, engine has gone weak, and requires re-build / overhaul, using genuine / OEM parts, and as per stock conditions.

Before going for rebuild / overhaul, first check the engine compression via compression test.

2ndly, if you could kindly mention your city / place, then may be, experts could refer you to some good, reputed garage.

Probably need new gears. Kabli ones available in market in good condition.

Mileage is not bad. Other symptoms suggets engine issues, but proper tuning might get rid of those.

Back suspension is bad on mehran. Lte mw know if you find a solution
