Mehran CNG

This is my first post at this forum, and I hope that I would be able to get help from here.

Mehran car and CNG are the must combination. I have heard that by converting the mehran car from CNG to petrol and then back causes the plugs to fail and one should get them changed monthly. Is that true?

looks like an idot to me
i do this all th time i am using Bosch super 4 plugs since 2006 in my mehran no harm at all
just at night park it in petrol and start it in petrol in the morning after driving 2kms convert it to CNG ur car will be less problamatic

Ws,
Spark plugs are to be changed or not, This is judged by how many kilometeres the car has clocked.
Not by time period i-e 1 month or 2 months.

plugs are not effected by conversion from cng and petrol.

first of all, welcome to PW

secondly...if this is the case as someone has told u, then most of the efi cars would be changing their spark plugs ever too often...like my car starts on petrol each and every time i shut it down, and just after a second or so it converts to CNG..driving perfectly for 3 years Mashallah

Totally wrong . not any problem during and after change from petrol to cng and cng to petrol.

Conversion to petrol and back to CNG has no adverse effect on any part of the engine. Regular Spark plugs needs replacement after 15,000 to 20,000km approx if everything else in your engine is ok.

no this is not true...mehran cars actually goes best along with cng and i am sure one will not face any kind of problem when converting cng to petrol or vice versa
