Mehran efi oil advice required

assalam o alikum every one
4 months ago i purchased new efi mehran, i want to ask that my car has done 3100 km and i didnt change first oil yet because in maintenance book it is written that change oil after 5000 km or 3 months pl advise me that should i complete 5000 km as per suzuki book or change the oil, and which 1 is best foe engine in long term....should i go go for havoline 20-50 10-40 or for shell??

mehran's manual says 10/40 viscose engine oil. So better to stick with 10/40 till you drove it atleast 50k and after that shift to 20/50.

@20w 50 is thick oil. Use zic 10w 40. Change it at 2500km.
In 4 months you covered 3100km. So your first oil change will be after half a year

10w40 is ideal. 20w50 is too viscous, only use it when engine gets

change every 5000 km along with oil filter for oil go go the grade recomended in manual,dont listen to those telling you to change it before 5k(unless you end up buying a fake one)
the main purpose of oil is to provide lubrication not to make your car fly as someone might claim after putting in ZIC A+ or whatever

the best available oils in 10/40 are

ptt lubricants performa 10/40
or
zic a

give preference & priority to above oils rather than havoline, shell, etc or even suzuki oils.

And keep the changing interval as maximum 4k.
Small engines are not recommended for longer change intervals.

In local brands I really like havoline. once the car has completed running then use the engine oil for 5000 km
