as my mehran is old i was thinking to freshen up the engine up. does anyone know how can i get the wiring all neat and tidy as it is old and messy. also give me other suggestions on how to make it look more cleaner
Use engine bay cleaner or wd40 for cleaning don't use water.
on very old cars, the wiring covers start to break down and the tape gets hard and lets go.
In such cases it is best to remove the engine room wiring, perform any necessary repairs and then cover it in fresh plastic tube
ok i will try that. Can I also spray grey or silver paint around the throttle body area? For new look or will it harm the engine in any way??
bad idea to do it while engine is still inside the car, also you will need hi heat paint for that purpose.
