Mehran engine oil blow

i need help related to mehran engine blow issue, i have 08 model mehran 92k km driven, but i found its engine oil reduced upto half liter after 1000km drive in hilly areas. but physically no smoke comes out from exhaust but oil found its air filter box. mechanic told me ur car engine is weak and need to overhaul.
please tell me what is actual work required for car? also can it be fixed with thick engine oil even i am using 20W50

Problem cannot be fixed with 20w50 oil but only delayed till the point of failure. Before considering an engine overhaul get a compression test done both dry and wet. If the compression test is fine then perhaps a seal is leaking.

Do check and make sure if smoke is coming at high rpms as well since that could explain oil consumption due to your recent trip.

No smoke on high rpm, from where can i perform compression test? I am in lahore. Slight oil fumes were coming out from vent ( placed on head cover) on high rpm..

that seems to be the culprit, compression test can be done any place where mechanics have the right tools. some member can suggest you where in Lahore as I am from khi. I had oil consumption as well in my 04 city and it was due to faulty tappet cover, just pray its the same case for you and you can get off very cheap.

Brother why smoke comes out from tappet cover vent when engine is hot? What is ur opinion on this issue? Guide me tnx

Since the oil is being heated when the car is hot, the smoke is a result of the oil being heated by the exhaust manifold. Just replace your tappet cover and it should stop the oil leak and smoke from oil burning.

yes your engine is weak, go for an overhaul from a reliable mechanic. Use oem parts also.

As per your mechanic. Engine has very low compression. One reason for low compression is sticking compression rings.
You may try some method before overhauling engine. Like unsticking of piston rings. At cold engine. jack up front wheel and put four gear. Open spark plug and pour carbeurator cleaner in each cylinder. Move piston by rotating front wheel with hand. You can use diesel and let engine for two days in such state.
Now install spark plug and start engine.
All diesel sin each cylinder should move down to crank case.
Use this method. If you are changing engine oil. Hopefully you will feel difference.

Also check your pcv valve... if bad.. oil is burnt.

I forgot to add, did your mechanic preform a wet compression test?
If he did what was the outcome?

I would not suggest waiting to have this issue repaired as it can be much worse if you delay. The oil may start being consumed faster and your engine may end up running dry. That would be the end of your engine, Believe me its not something that should be taken too lightly.

My relative had his Mehran engine overhauled thrice because mechanic was a useless person. Please be careful and only go to a mechanic that is experienced.

that would be better, if you know the fault the mechanic can't fool you easily. You could check compression after overhaul as well.
