Mehran Engine Oil Problem

Salam

I have a Mehran 2008 model. I'm currently using Shell Helix HX5 engine but have been facing oil reduction since last few oil changes. Mostly the oil used to reduce after crossing 2000km mileage mark but now its beginning to reduce at around 1500km.

Is it due to poor oil quality.? Or is it something with my engine? ALso there is a light amount of sludge (blackish color) built-up I saw on tappets when I got the car tuned. The mechanic told me that this is due to poor quality oil. Is it true?

I was thinking of shifting to SGO Premium SG grade oil but I've read some comments on the forums that this oil is only good for 2500km.

Any other better alternatives? Expert's opinions on my problem will be much appreciated.

Brother,,is your car making any smoke on starting or or in running???

Brother...in my opinion shell is not the poor quality oil....and also if you change your oil it will make condition more worse..your call will be start giving smoke...ihave old mehran and recently i have overhauled its engine...due to this oil changing startegy...

And also check the car gently from the down...to check that weather the oil is leaking from somewhere or not...

No the car is not giving any smoke currently. i have thoroughly checked the bottom of the car as well but there is no visible leak as far as I can see.

Although i must mentioned that the oil sump looks a bit damped.

Well its good if its not giving smoke and no signs of any leakage...can you tell me which number's oil you are using...
Shell 10-40?

I agree that the shell is not poor quality oil. But there may be a factor of fake oil?

I always get my oil changed from Shell askrai pump But the oil reduction has increased significantly after 2000km. Before the 2000 km mark, there used to be hardly reduction but now its quite a bit. Like 250ml something. Currently I've driven 2200km and oil has reduced by almost 350ml.

Yes I'm using helix HX5 10W-40.

One more thing, I got my friend's car oil change done from same pump. His mehran model is 2015 and he experienced oil reduction too after completing 3500km+.

Yup its also a problem nowadays of fake oil etc...ithink you should go to suzuki service workshop for one time before changing oil and tell them the problem....INSHALLAH...you will get solution...

yeah I'm thinking of trying to go to suzuki, but suzuki people are a rip off. Anyways I'll try going there.

So what do you suggest? try sticking with same oil and get oil change from somewhere else? Or change the engine oil all over?

Well after iverhauling my car's engine...i aslo use shell 10 40 and its reducing also but there is a leakage in my case....

Brother i suggest you to take professionals advise on this topic...because in my opinion changing the oil is not good at all....you should go to the suzuki workshop for one time....
