Okay suzuki dealership Charges for just tuning of mehran are:
labour cost 600, jan kit 150, rest are some 122 GST so made a total of 872 rupees.
As @sleeper mentioned they have targets to achieve, its 100% correct.
Let me tell u my story of first visit to suzuki centre. it was oil leakge (from head cover, because of damaged Jan seal). So, i was new owner having no prior knowledge. I went there, tell them, then their expert/head mechanic took ride of car, and said, sir meri baat manein, app ka thora sa khrcha ho ga lekin car apki A1 ho jai ge.
What he proposed: 1) throtle service, 2)Catalytic cleaning, 3) shock service, 4) bla bla bla bla
As i agreed, thinking that he is probably right, the bill was 14700 ( labour 9000, 5000 parts, and some gst)
See issue was to replace a jan seal of cost 150, and he turned that 150 in aprrox 15000. When i told all this to my current mechanic, he told me that all this work cost is just 3500 from his workshop.
Now after 2.5 years of Mehran ownership i have learnt lots of things from forums, from utube and many portals.
Sumamry : please study things, otherwise these stealrships will rip u off. So, dont agree to their extra suggestions.
Cost of repalcing Clutch plate from stealership is 35000.
I replaced it from my mechanic in 9500. 7000 parts and 2500 labour. find a good expert mechanic instead.
