Thank you for the detailed information! I usually drive slow and avoid potholes as much as possible! ever since i got total control of this car after being mildly abused. since June 2017 till today, the car is driven 6000km only!!

things I did!
steering repair
gear box repair
magnetic distributer
silencer replaced
carburetor butterfly replaced
poured ceratec into fresh oil (experimental basis only)
clean pcv valve once a month
new battery
new seat covers
new roof insulation
Replaced Fuel Pump

things to do:
fuel tank cleaning and eliminate odor
belts replace
discs and brake shoe replacement (critical)
axle replacement
window winding machine replacement (critical)

Things i am not doing anything is the AC and body work which i feel that the new owner get these fix according to their budget or taste! or else people will say it is completely sprayed or ac is not working properly etc etc

I will go for auto gear this time! i am sick of driving manual in Lahore!!!

I may also go for FAW v2 if i may not be able to save enough cash in time! but sadly, i will be stuck with manual once again but will be at peace for few years

Remove the valve first and use carburetor spray thoroughly, u will observe black deposits and also u will hear spring sound if you gently shake the valve after cleaning it.
Also clean the pipes as well. below is the pic for reference taken from this page.

Alhamdollillah Mehran's (E2 March 2013) stock Sanden ac is cooling so well even in this heatwave during peak noon. Amazed.

Its going perfect so far, everything is smooth and tension free as i don't need to change points any more. It cost me Rs. 4000 from Bilal Gunj.

Make sure to take a experienced mechanic with you or if you can easily judge the quality/condition of the part.

I have changed my mind! i need to get ac for my mehran, which is the best compressor for it? stock compressor is already fitted in it but it is super useless, which is the best reliable shop in lahore and what would be the estimated price of getting it fix? can anyone give me a detail.

Go to Punjab Car Ac. And ask them to install Sanden AC.
35500 total.

I recently got it installed in my bew mehran.

They cooling of ac is very good , sufficient even in this weather in lahore.

Unfortunately my plans for fixing Mehran's A.C has been postponed due to electrical meter burned out completely of our home! it's been 3 days and hopefully will get new meter along with the water proof box (should have got that before) by monday! new meter basically cost 15k but it is not available at LESCO office and a very so called "NAAAIK Shareef" person of adjacent of society is helping but asking 27k (for everything)!!!!! we have no choice sadly...... next time i wont be praying for Rain...... lol

Anyways, today the mechanic partially removed the fuel tank to inspect the fuel pipes and turns out it was worn and had to be replaced with the new one, installed new clumps etc etc. total cost including labour was 600. filled the fuel and the smell was 60-70% less after filling, turns out there was a small leak on back of fuel filling area, got that fix too. sorry couldn't take pics of it.

next saturday, replacing all window machines....... and a oil change which is almost due.

I own a mehran 2013. Its giving me poor petrol average i.e 10-11 kms / litre in city. I need help regarding my mehran's bad fuel economy. If anybody can refer me to any mechanic in lahore who can check my car. or if anybody can personally guide me, i'll be grateful.
