Mehran Experience Tips and suggestions

Mileage? Of your car? My 2014 mehran that I bought at 6000 km (it was in areas where fuel quality is shit) gave me 7/9 km in city. I had tuning done at 20,000 km, in which the mechanic changed the spark plugs after he and i inspected them (he did it for practically free) and fuel average came up to 13/15 kml in city. Now i use Total Parco petrol.

It gives around 10-11 kms / litre without AC within city.
Which spark plugs you had installed? and can you refer me to the mechanic?

OEM ones i think. The Garage next to Concordia College Wapda town boys at ayub chowk.

My Mehran 2013 given 13-14 km in city with AC. and without AC it touch 17 km. i bought it at 9000 km, now its 20000 ODM, just Oil and Air Filter replacing, Keep cleaning Air Filter every 2000 km. and Oil after 4000 km,
1) is all car have same spark plug?.
because i want to do it myself.

No, there are different types of plugs and different gaps.

I want to clean the spark plugs myself but I don't have gauge tool to set the gap. How can I do that without gauge tool?

My car is a 2014 VX Euro-II with aftermarket AC.
I bought this car back in September 2017 and it was a Suzuki Certified Used Car.
The car runs absolutely fine but quite often the Check Engine Light comes on. When I asked the 3S people, they said it’s nothing and just reset it by unplugging the battery for a while.
This trick used to work for a couple of weeks before the light popped up again.
Now the problem is that the light comes back on after minutes of resetting while the car seems to be running fine.
Today however the current was fluctuating a few minutes before the light turned on.
What should I do now? Normal OBD-II tool does not work on Mehran. What could be the issue?

Bhai check engine light comes up which alerts that something wrong.
goto a scanner and get ur canr scanned and diagnose the error code.
and get it rectified.

please tight your air flow sensor grip which is attached to your air intake pipe. that is usually an issue as it gets touched alot.

Can someone tell me what happened to My Mehran's temprature Gauge? its showing Cold all the time Wheres FAN is on auto and thermostat is installed! and system is working Fine.

it uses Suzuki's JOBD which is not available in market. Get it scanned from Suzuki.

hahaha..... i am on Pakwheels most of the time! haven't sold it.... busy at house renovations and sister's wedding plans.

Mehran is in need of repairs and following things need to be done

1-replacing fuel pipe due to leakage when filling
2-ever since i got the brake pads replaced, the brake pedal became squishy, i fear that master cylinder has been worn out but i have replaced it 2 years back or maybe Mechanic did not properly bleed out the air.
3-replacement of front Guarder (gadri)

other than that everything is fine. today was the most torturous day of my life, unfortunately got stuck in Mall Road, Lahore when news broke out, chaos everywhere, i left home at 10 am and came back home at 9 pm!!!!! every route was blocked (my home is situated near thokar) and drove approximately 130 kilometers within city!!! i was worried that my car won't bear much as driving 130 km in city increases more wear tear and fatigue as compare to driving in highway. but nothing happened though..... but my knee is screwed!! haha

Hi everybody,
I recently faced an uncommon issue with my mehran's odometer reading. My daily travelling distance from my home to office is 20kms. I've measured this distance on different cars + google maps + other gps tracking and distance measuring apps. But what my car's odometer gives 14-15kms distance travelled whereas in actual the car has covered 20kms. Can anybody tell me what could be the problem and how can i fix this issue?

Following things done yesterday:

replaced rear wheel bearings and bought grease cups to protect from rust and dust, it was missing (no noise and smooth drive)
Tuning and plugs cleaned
Replaced the metal fuel hose and black rubber tube (Rs. 310) due to leakage when filling, but when i filled the tank, the fuel was throwing back!!! I am getting sick and tired of this...... why is this happening!
alignment is done as well but after that when i change gear, it slightly turns to left and then reverts to normal!!! alignment not done properly?
I have decided to use Guard Oil from Metro Cash & Carry (i was previously a frequent customer but i opted to change the brand this year to TOTAL) but turns out that most oil shops in Lahore are selling fake oils and i guess that seller sold me a fake product. While i was driving back home on last Tuesday, my car shut off for no reason near Barkat Market, i some how managed to reach Thokar to get this issue resolved and noticed a weird burning smell, electrical was fine but when the mechanic removed the tappet cover, everything was black and sticky! (car was driven 1700km and change interval is 3000km ). should have listened to my dad.......
