Advantage in Acceleration and top speed is noticeable but since its a city car then i can suggest some thing cheap and good NGK V power plugs 3 for 400 rs Bosch 4 tip used them in mehran for 40K and no visible change in performance till i changed wires german ones are hard to find and prices start from 900-1900 Denso Vk 20 my mehran gave nice milage plus top speed had a gr8 change the meter showed 130 and car had 165/70/12 tires in which 100Km on speedo =112.2 so u can say iridium plugs start at 3000 a set

yar if ac in mehran is not used for 10 years then what will be its condition. i mean my car was used as second car and we never bothered to get ac serviced. now the car is under my control so what should i do? replace ac with new or repair the existing one. what will be estimated kharcha?

well jee i thnk get it serviced first new Gas saffai suthraai etc kharcha would be near 3K
and new AC is around 24K sendan

Successfully replaced Timing belt, genuine one cost me Rs. 2300. I searched Montgomery Road Lahore for bearing and as said by the shopkeeper genuine is also from NTN, and he showed me NTN bearing, JAPAN was written on it, but I also heard that NTN JAPAN is actually made in lahore so left idea of replacing genuine bearing.

Mostly I faced AC gas leakage problem. Is there any other way to save the existing ac gas? Because AC wala everytime charge 2000 rupees for filling the ac gas.

well mine was a simple VX with no A/c but for leakage check all pipes and their condition

a local high copy of japanese brand name MK is suited for mehran,,,,,,,will cost you 600 Rs

^ 100% agree they come in red packing and most mechanics call them Soft leathers
best way to detect if breaks are worn out check the level of break oil if it is drooped then don't add any extra oil it means leathers are not 100% and change them ASAP
my mehroo gave me break light warning on DaSh and i sold it in that condition no one bothers with that but i think it needed all break fluid replacement

my mehran had 155/70/12 Hankooks
then i shifted to 165/70/12 Dunlop
and all suspension problems started till the day i sold her
