Looking for mehran shocks solution , replace both to stock? 2.Repair the right one which is hard on bump as compare to left one.
Any specific brand recommended ? The left one is stock , right one isnt

Dear all. I have a question too, i smell petrol during driving when the driver side window is open, when ever all the windows r up there is no petrol smell. And my car is giving around 15kml so i guess average is good and there is no leak. What can b the issue

i guess you guys have bad conditioned cars or don't know how to maintain cars, i adjusted timing to 17 BTDC then valves inlet exhaust to 0.15mm adjusted dwell angle then adjusted circuit breaker gap and plug gap (NGK-BKR5EGP #7090) then adjusted carburetor mixture and set the idle to 850RPM with rpm meter and 10W40 synthetic oil is used with OEM oil and air filters replaced after 3500km odometer reading is 69000km, coolant replaced at 40000km with caltex coolant and break oil flushed with ZIC break oil DOT 3 gear oil is ZIC FF. In 0 C temperatures car starts on half self battery is Volta 50AH bought in january 2013. Spark plug wires provided by babar bahi aka smartdevilstriker And i use 3M carb and throttle plate cleaner for carb after 1000-1500km to keep carb float bowl and jets cleaned. I traveled from isb to jehlum via gt road and distance traveled one side was 120km and my car was full tank from islamabad odometer 68850 when reached jehlum then 68970 and again refiled petrol, 5.61L went into tank only which makes upto 120/5.61 21.5km/l and speed was 80-90km/h according to gps. In local it gives me 14.5-15.5 depending on traffic and how i drive.

Auto means ? And bro fuel dripping question ka koi answer I mean to say why it happened ?

The main fuel pipe which is of steel would be corroded thats why it leaks and till 1-1.5ltr leaks out then it stops. Replace the rubber breather pipe too.

There is a slight petrol smell always present in the cabin. I got it checked from a few mechanics, everything is fine according to them. Engine/carburettor is also well tuned. There is no leakage as far as i can tell. But the smell does not go away. Someone here mentioned about cleaning/replacing the breather pipe. Where is it located and what is it called in layman terms?

Front ones are around 5500-6000 for pair rear ones are 2500 but buy Gabriel because it is factory fitted in mehran. KYB is also available but not suitable for mehran. Don't go for used or refurbished shocks.

Replace your fuel filter. It's cheap around 150rs. That should solve the issue

AOA, guys my car has an issue of fuel reduction on CNG. Its been a month that the car is with me and i have been running on CNG all this time except for night switch off and morning start. The car had slightly less than half tank fuel, since then the fuel gauge everyday shows very minut drop and now it has almost gone to E position.

mehran takes long self when the engine is hot on petrol. on cng it is f9. ihave sprayed carb spray in carb but no success plz help. thanks

Just open the fuel cap , if it sound like opening a pepsi bottle then its ok
Otherwise tight the ring attached to pipe of fuel tank
Same was case with my mehran

plus fuel pump can be leaking. open the bonnet and check fuel pump. if you see any stains on pump or leakage signs then your fuel pump is going to go bad soon.

Sir mehran comes with Gabriel factory fitted. The KYB which people get in market is usually fake. Mostly kabari have KYB shocks, btw i'm talking about authentic Gabriel i didn't knew it was being made in Pakistan
