Mehran Experience Tips and suggestions

Sir mehran comes with Gabriel factory fitted. The KYB which people get in market is usually fake. Mostly kabari have KYB shocks, btw i'm talking about authentic Gabriel i didn't knew it was being made in Pakistan

Bro I got changed the both pairs of shocks with KYB new ones. Before that I have gone through the Gabriel new ones at Tanveer Autos Montgomery Road Lahore and it look like made of vey poor quality. The sales man told me that these are Karachi made and it is also fact that new Mehran is equipped with Gabriel original.

Now the option was KYB Japan or KYB Malaysia (Front and Rear shocks). I selected KYB Malaysia for front and KYB Japan for rear. These are the best shock absorbers ever working fine in my Mehran from the last eight months.

new suzuki mehran has made in pak gabriel shocks factory fitted made by a company which also makes shocks of tractors. back in 2001 they used to put KYB shocks in it. that why my 2001 mehran was way comfortable. now i have gabriel and i regret it. KYB shocks are pretty good.

Chances are you are experiencing heat soak, compounded by today's blended fuels. Following are some things to keep in mind in an attempt to alleviate this situation.

• Ensure that your fuel line is routed away from your exhaust and or block. This will help alleviate excessive fuel temperature in the supply line that can directly relate to pressure building in the line resulting in the needle and seat being overridden by the pressure causing a flooding condition.
• Remember, heat rises and when the vehicle's engine is turned off, the rising heat can easily penetrate the carburetor and cause the fuel in the float bowls to expand and eventually boil or percolate.

1. solved( now it takes comparatively shorter time to start then before) but not good enough as that it was before)
2. would adjusting the float level can solve this problem?
3. when i press the pedal less than half suddenly the engine stalls for microsecond then becomes normal. and moreover that engine comes to normal operating temperature the engine becomes sluggish.
   what could have happened?

Sounds,accelerator pump installed in carburetor is not working ,get it checked. The accelerator pump squirts and extra dose of fuel into the throat of the carburetor when the throttle opens. This helps offset the extra gulp of air that is sucked in until fuel flow through the metering circuits can catch up to the change in air velocity through the venturi (the narrow part of the carburetor throat). The accelerator pump may use a rubber diaphragm or a rubber cup on a piston to pump fuel through its discharge nozzles. If the diaphragm is torn or the piston piston seal is worn, the accelerator pump may not deliver it's normal dose of fuel. Or, if the discharge nozzles are plugged with dirt or fuel varnish deposits, it can restrict fuel flow.

The car had slightly less than half tank fuel, since then the fuel gauge everyday shows very minut drop and now it has almost gone to E position. So, while running on CNG the fuel is wasted. Any suggestions please.

I never smellled fuel, but am not sure about the fuel pump. How do i check that?

In cng some times fuel pump is in use or leaked u can check it from wngine bay

If I install 155/70 R12 tyres on stock Rim of Mehran... (instead of 145/70/12) how much of the car fuel consumption will effect.. currently my car 2007 model giving me the mileage of 12/13 km/l.

Which one will be suitable Quabli japani tyres or Chinese new tyres?? Currently 2 of my car tyres are Chinese made n 2 r local..
