Mehran Fuel Average Decreased after Carburetor Repair

Hey All!
I recently did carburetor overhaul in my Suzuki Mehran 2007 due to carburetor leakage. During the overhaul, the mechanic told me that out of two fuel supply pipes to the carburetor one had been blocked/plugged (probably by previous user's mechanic)
I also noticed that the fuel supply line after Carburetor (supplying fuel to engine) had been blocked by using cigarette box paper (kalli kaghaz) which I removed.
Ever since the carburetor overhaul, I have noticed that the fuel average has dropped from 18km/l to 15km/l and I also feel that the car's idling speed has increased.
Could it be the blockage in line after carburetor which may have caused an advantage in fuel economy?

15 km/l in local is good average.Previous owner did jugaars with the car due to which economy was better but performance was decreased.Now it's at optimum condition.Is ur fan auto or direct.That too can cause economy to decrease and is thermostat valve installed.

It did not have thermostat installed since I bought and the fan is still direct since then.
Regarding the performance, the car pick was very good before and is the same now, I haven't seen any significant performance change ever since.
Plus 15km/l average is on long routes and not local. Locally it gives about 10 km/l
