Mehran Gear Stuck

HI Pakwheelers,
Today in the Morning, I applied the reversed Gear to take my Mehran(94 model) out of garage but Surprisingly when I tried to apply First Gear to move forward My Gear lever stuck at the place, I tried a lot but it is still stuck at the place, So I take reverse rounds and parked my car in the garage in the reverse position. Now the situation is that the Gear lever is at nuetral place and the car is still in the reverse gear, and any gear can't be applied even if u try harder. Now please anyone help me that How can I free my car from the reverse Gear so that I can take it to the Mechanic. I can't take it to the Mechanic in the reverse position,as they are not very near to our home. Plz anyone explain me the procedure if I can free it from beneath the Gearbox. Gear oil is also present and Clutch is also working fine. I am wondering that its not good to pull a car through another car by tying, while pressing clutch when it is in gear.Is it True? Please Help me...

check to see if the linkage from the gear knob to the gearbox is moving correctly. it's possible a bold is loose or has come out in the linkage.

when you open the bonnet and have someone else move the gear knob you'll know where to be looking to se if al is well in the engine bay.

Plz check the Clutch Lever in Engine side as it moves but in Mehran (as i used) sometimes it lose grip as its jiont got lose same happened with me once but i changed that lever n after that every thing f9.

Yaar yehi tu mushkil hay kay mechanic zyada qareeb nahin hain meray ghar kay,,,,,Plz help me, checked all the things but still the problem is there....???

instead of wasitng any more time, take a cab and bring the mechanic to your house to check the car.

if the mechanic cannot fix it at home at least he'll be able to (hopefully) diagnose the problem and offer up a temporary solution for him. rather than him not having a car on monday morning.

Well the issue is serious and not that easy...i won't suggest you to aaply ur own mechanical experties to it since mechanical issues in any kind of vehicle are very sensistive its a better idea to get the mechanice to ur car

and the thing is what i see is that the problem lies in the gear box since the bush present in ur box have lost their energy and u wud need to get them replaced

right but what if the car cannot get fixed nor temporary solution works ? ( a big problem might be there )

Thanx to all.......... I brought the Mechanic today(sunday) morning, He fixed the problem by taking out all the gear oil and fixing the two rods one of which was stuck, and then put it again. He said that the two rods stuck in a Qeenchi(scissors) position and its all because of a play(gap) in the fork which change the gears. It was not a big problem. I have used the car all day and now inshallah I will take it to Mechanic tomorrow morning for fixing the fork. All MASLA will be solved in 300-350 rupees. Thanx to all for suggesions.
