Due to the heat the glove compartment hatch tends to grow out of shape and not lock into its proper place.. If you are facing this problem the Solution is simple !!!
Pull the hatch to the max and you will notice two legs which support the hatch , pull them out completely from slot and take a small iron nail heat its TIP and when it gets Red hot make a small Hole on the edge of the Leg now take a small Spring (available almost in any Rickshaw repair shop)
Attach the spring to the Hole made into the Leg and pass the spring through the SLOT and attach the other end to any body screw that would be present under the dashboard ,, you will find many repeat the same procedure with the other LEG and Viola you have a retractable Glove compartment hacth and the heat is no more a problem
